BANNED B00Kz

Most books were banned due to profanity, sexual refrences, and using God's name in vain. To me this say's out culture and country try's to keep the truth away from youth today. I don't think any of these books should be banned. Yes I have read some books such as, Of Mice and Men, To Kill a MockingBird, and I've saw the movie The Color Purple. My education would be affected If I hadn't read this because before I read To Kill a Mockingbird, I knew nothing about the Jim Crow laws, I actually learned a lot from that book. Of Mice and Men was a great book, I loved it!

3 BESTEST!

*Reverend Parris, John Proctor, and Rebecca Nurse were the epitome of Salem's morals during the witchcraft trials. Although they all honored their reputation, they each had a different way of upholding their reputation

* In The Crucible, Arthur Miller portrays how strict the seventeen society was, when a person's name was the most valuable property his or her offspring can inherit instead of land. Name belongs to a person -he or she doesn't use it a lot but everyone else doses; thus they can either "enrich" or damage it. Being accused as a witchcraft doesn't hurt a person physically but mentally. In the play, Parris , Abigail , Giles, and John Proctor have fought well with their internal conflict in order to maintain their good reputation in Salem. I thought this was interesting because they use a time period.

*
-The importance of one's reputation was strongly represented throughout the story to such an extent of doing what they believe
is best in order to keep their good name.

THESE ARE MY TOP 3 FAVORITE,THEY ARE VERY NICELY TYPED,ANDI LIKE HOW SOME USE BIG WORDS. I THINK TO IMPROVE MY THESIS WAS TO ADD MORE EVIDENCE AND QUOTES TO SUPPORT IT.
